BPL Reloc

COMMERCIAL

 IMPORT & EXPORT

BPL Reloc provides import and export services for commercial cargo through major Airports and Seaports in the United Arab Emirates. We offer regular consolidation services for shipments via air, sea, and land to and from the UAE, catering to the needs of the UAE trade community.

In the realm of air freight, we offer a variety of services, from small express shipments starting at 35 kg to large-scale projects. Our air cargo division is equipped with state-of-the-art software and a global network to ensure that shipments are handled with care. Airfreight consolidation, known Consol involves booking shipments from multiple shippers under a single Master Air Way Bill (MAWB), with each shipper’s cargo traveling under an individual House Air Way Bill (HAWB). This consolidation approach helps save costs and provides a more cost-effective way to transport goods.

For ocean freight, which is the primary mode of transport for importers and exporters, goods are typically packed in shipping containers. Blue Peter arranges container bookings and handles the transportation of cargo from the origin port to the destination port. The services can include port-to- port, door-to-port, port-to-door, or door-to-door itineraries, with options for truck pick-up and delivery.

BPL Reloc offers both Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) services. FCL involves exclusive use of a container for a single shipment, even if the container isn’t fully loaded. In contrast, LCL allows multiple cargo shipments to share the same container, with shipping costs divided among the parties. In addition to air and sea freight, BPL Reloc has extensive experience in international road shipments throughout the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region. They are known for their reliable services, punctuality, and the guarantee of goods arriving in perfect condition. Their network of road haulers is well-connected to major Gulf cities.

Import and export are fundamental concepts in the field of freight forwarding, which plays a crucial role in global trade and logistics. Here’s a brief explanation of each term in the context of freight forwarding:

Import:

Importing refers to the process of bringing goods or products into a country from a foreign location. In the context of freight forwarding, this involves managing the transportation, customs clearance, and other logistics related to receiving foreign shipments and getting them ready for distribution within the importing country.

Export:
Exporting, on the other hand, involves sending goods or products from one country to another for the purpose of selling them in the foreign market. Freight forwarders assist in the transportation, documentation, and compliance aspects of getting these goods to their destination.

In freight forwarding, the following key activities are typically involved in both importing and exporting:

  •  Transportation: Coordinating the movement of goods, which can involve various modes of transport, such as air, sea, road, or rail?
  • Customs Clearance: Ensuring that the necessary customs documentation is prepared and submitted, and that the goods comply with the regulations and requirements of both the exporting and importing countries.
  •  Warehousing: Providing storage and distribution services for goods in transit, ensuring their safe
handling and consolidation or deconsolidation when necessary.
  • Documentation: Managing the documentation required for international trade, which includes bills of lading, invoices, packing lists certificates of origin, and more.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that shipments comply with various international trade regulations, including import and export restrictions, sanctions, and trade agreements.

Freight forwarders are essential intermediaries in the import and export process, as we have the expertise to navigate the complexities of international trade and logistics. We help businesses and individuals move goods across borders efficiently and in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
